Over abundance of tomatoes

Since I had 27 lbs of tomatoes I had to do something with them…In previous posts I made homemade ketchup and canned it, homemade bbq sauce and canned it and now Im making homemade tomato soup!!!

Once its done I’ll press the juice out of it, recook it and can it as well…no food mill here so cheese cloth pressing here I come!!!

After all the juice drains, bring it back to a boil…I let mine sit in the crock pot for a few hours so it wasn’t to watery. Then I transferred to jars and sealed. Processed in canner and stored on my beautiful shelves.
