Fermented Cranberries

I saw a post in a rebel canning group im in about a batch of honey fermented cranberries. They say the probiotics are so good for you. I have suffered from IBS for a very long time and thought the probiotics might be good. When the berries are gone you’re left with this amazing syrup. The process is easy, but does takes a few weeks.

For my batch I used frozen cranberries and local Florida honey…

-pulse the cranberries a few times in a food processor (just until most are burst)
– pack into a mason jar, and fill the entire jar with honey.
-let sit for a few weeks, shaking once or twice a day (it’ll take a few days for the juice to mix with the honey and become less viscous).
– enjoy.
